CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet: The Officers of the Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR) paid the traditional New Year’s call to the Regional Director PCSUPT Elmo Francis Oco Sarona this morning at the Multi-Purpose Gym, Camp Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet.
Spearheading the Call was PSSUPT R’win Pagkalinawan, Deputy Regional Director for Administration, followed by other members of the Command Group, Directorial Staff, Personal/Special Staff, Provincial and City Directors, Force Commander of RMFB15, Chiefs of National Support Units, Deputies of Directorial Staff, Chiefs of Police of Baguio City Police Office and Capital towns of the Provincial Offices, other Officers of the different Division/Units/Offices of Regional Headquarters and national support units and Regional/Provincial/Battalion Executive Senior Police Officers.
The New Year’s Call is a cherished tradition of calling on the commanders where members of the organization gather together to express appreciation for everyone’s efforts for the past year’s accomplishments and an affirmation for a continuous collective support and unity to achieve the mission as they face another year.
During the call, PCSUPT Sarona, commended everyone for a very momentous achievement at the very start of the year and accomplishing so much in 2017 especially in the their contribution managing the holiday with zero casualty for the New Year celebrations from indiscriminate firing and the lowest number of firecracker injuries ever for decades.
He then encouraged everyone to do better for this year reminding them that it is crucial for them to improve their services and to be seen as giving their all in the service of the citizenry. He also emphasized on enhancing and maintaining a strong partnership with the LGUs and local chief executives so as to work hand and in hand in policing and keeping the streets safe.
Finally, PCSUPT Sarona urged all of the officers to heed to the words of the Chief, PNP to keep the course and to live a life of service with accountability and one worth emulating. (PRO-COR RPIO)
