PROCOR CAMP BADO DANGWA: Police Regional Office Cordillera has lighted up its giant Christmas tree and other lighting decorations around the main building and park inside the PNP Camp yesterday evening.
Police Chief Superintendent Elmo Francis Oco Sarona spearheaded the lighting ceremony and witnessed by the men and women of the Regional Headquarters, Provincial Directors of Police Provincial Offices, City Director of Baguio City Police Office and friends from the media. After the ceremony, a boddle fight ensued at the parade ground.
The lighting of the Christmas tree is a yearly tradition in this camp that symbolizes the celebration of Christmas, a season of sharing and blessing, reminiscing the birth of Jesus Christ that brought everyone new hope as the living proof of God’s incomparable love for mankind.
In the message of the Regional Director, he encouraged everyone to improve their services, better case solution and heightened propagation of Human Rights for the coming New Year. He also added that amidst all negative issues encountered by the PNP, the PNP stood still and learned the lessons and despite all these, the PNP also need to be with their families in this time of the year however, they are should not put their guards down, those who will be going on break are still obliged to report to the nearest police unit to render duty in the night of Dec. 24 and 31, 2017. This is to make sure that police units will not be depleted in the celebration of the yuletide season.
