PROCOR CAMP BADO DANGWA: PROCOR ensures the safety of the learners from various learning centers in Baguio City and capital town of Benguet which may be taken advantage by lawless elements to carry out their nefarious schemes.

Police Regional Office Cordillera Regional Director PCSUPT Elmo Francis Oco Sarona personally led the inspection of four schools in Baguio City which are the Baguio Central School, Quezon Elementary School, Mabini Elementary School and Baguio City National High School and the La Trinidad Elementary School in Buyagan Elementary School.

During the school visit, the Principal of La Trinidad Elementary School Mr. Lesio Nga-ew took the chance of awarding the Certificates of Recognition to the Provincial Director of Benguet Police Provincial Office and Chief of Police of La Trinidad Municipal Police Station for their active participation during the Brigada Eskwela.

PROCOR aims to ensure the peace and order, public safety and security of students to prevent the occurrence of snatching, swindling, robbery, and street-level drug trafficking as well as bullying and harassment. Also to ensure the operational readiness of police units in responding to peace and order concerns, including threats from criminal elements who may take advantage of the first day of classes. Police Assistance Desks (PAD) were installed in the different schools, not only in Baguio and Benguet but in the entire region. Likewise, CDM contingent was organized ready to respond immediately in any occurrence of mass action upon request of DepEd authorities.

Police personnel will be deployed to conduct mobile and foot patrols and police visibility operations along major routes leading to all learning institutions and within the immediate vicinity of the schools throughout the school year.

Likewise, strict implementation of zoning ordinances prohibiting the existence of computer shops, billiard establishments and other distractive games and recreation within the immediate vicinity of schools will be safeguarded.

Nevertheless, PROCOR assures the public that the maintenance of peace and order and other public safety services will not be compromised and guarantees zero crime incident during this entire school year and directed all his police personnel regionwide to be wary, remain vigilant and watchful.
